1. source raw material and/or components for automotive channel in a timely manner to meet customer requirements related to cost, quality, delivery and technology
2. establish long term localization strategies and implementation plans for items currently not sourced near point of use
3. develop supplier relationships in a manner that maximizes benefits available from supplier resources above and beyond those directly associated with the goods and services being provided
4. determine supplier capacity requirements and make adjustments as required to insure consistent and adequate material flow
5. identify, implement and achieve results required for material cost reduction initiatives
6. develop and introduce new supplier technology that provides a competitive advantage to fsip europe
7. develop strong industry and commodity knowledge and incorporate same into supplier negotiations and agreements
8. evaluate supplier performance relative to requirements, determine gap between actual and required performance and drive necessary corrective actions to close performance gap
9. analyze single sourced items, identify potential risks and implement dual sourcing or back-up sourcing plan
10. rationalize supply base, where appropriate to increase leverage and reduce internal cost
11. forecast costs and product availability trends in order to provide input into the budgeting process. continuously monitors costs versus budgeted standards
12. controls financial commitments with suppliers (ongoing)
13. update and maintain sap knowledge, data and related processes and procedures (ongoing)
任职要求：
1. ba or bs in purchasing, business or engineering. mba desirable.
2. progressive experience in purchasing or related field.
3. automotive experience preferred
4. sourcing; new supplier identification and on-boarding
5. interface with various levels at china locations.
6. establish good working relationship with manufacturing, engineering, and project teams.
7. travel is required
8. competent in the use of microsoft excel, power point and sap
9. quote analysis and sourcing recommendations
10. negotiates commercial terms such as price, terms and delivery
11. resolves commercial issues with suppliers
